Here is a free Spider Man 3D sketch ZBrush model that I created. You are free to download and check out in ZBrush 3.0.

I would love to see some people take the model and pose it using Transpose tools in ZBrush.

File has been updated as of March 22, 2015. I updated download link, added a Zremesher low resolution version as an obj, a high resolution version as an obj, created a new project file for ZBrush 4R6, cleaned up the old meshes that are in subtool parts, set everything up to render with BPR render. Face Painting

On Friday night, I was asked by step son's school to do some face painting for the schools "Family Fun Night." My wife asked her friend Chrissy White (Ringling Alumni) to help out with painting. So she and I sent out to paint the town red... well at least some of the kids faces that is. (I did get to do 2 Spidey faces!!! Woot woot!)

I had so much fun painting faces that I volunteered to paint faces at a neighborhood kids birthday party at our neighborhood pool. I had a lot of fun and I got to take some photos from the days painting session.

Working With ZSpheres (Spidey 3D Sketch time - lapse)

This is a time lapse move that I created from a ZBrush session. I started with some ZSpheres, created some geometry and then started sculpted that into the final model of Spidey.

This video is a time - lapse movie of the entire session. This is about 3 hours worth of work condensed into about 9 minutes.

Lobstor (Creature Concept)

Here is a concept that I drew a while back of an underwater aquatic creature. When I lived in San Diego I would go to the tide pools in La Jolla and I was fascinated with all the cool crabs that were crawling around. I drew quite a few creatures that were crab related. I think I drew this guy after a night at Red Lobster. :)

Alien Host Time-Lapse Movie

Here is a time-lapse move that I created of a 3D sketching session inside of ZBrush 3.0.
This was the first time that I creaed a model from a sphere. I then added some music and produced the final movie file in Adobe After Effects.

Resurfacing a mesh in Maya

In this video we will take a look at how we can take a model from ZBrush, export this out as an OBJ, bring that into Maya and resurface that mesh. (3D tracing) This will give us good edge flow an topological layout for our model. We can then use this video (Click Here To Watch) to learn how to capture all the detail and color from our original sculpt.
