Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah

I made this after listening to Misty Edwards song "People Get Ready"

1. Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
2. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
3. But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
4. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
5. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:1-5

To make this image, in Photoshop I

1. Drew everything in black and white on a layer.

2. When I was done with the rough drawing I converted it to a channel.

3. I then made a selection out of the channel.

4. I then went to the path palette and turned my selection to a path.

5. I then selected a fat black brush and stroked the path with the brush. (Simulate stylus pressure was turned on.)

6. I then took my brush and made it a little smaller and then changed the color to white, I then stroked the path with the brush. (Simulate stylus pressure was turned on.)

Hope this helps! Peace - NickZ. :)

Hey, Nick. My name's Brandon. I saw this and thought it was really cool (always glad to find a Brother in this field). I came across your page as I was searching for modeling and first-person arm models for the ambitious CryEngine 3 Halo fiction mod that I'm helping lead, called "Venerance". Check us out at Venerance.net. Our forums are steady, and we're very early on in our production, so I'd love to hear anything that you have to say or contribute. We're learning as much as we can as quickly as we can so that the end result is the best that we can make it be. Take care, brother, and God bless!
